Review: I have light skin and am sensitive to sun exposure, and just the other week got a bit too much sun on my arms while I was outside walking with a friend. I could feel it happening, but I was enjoying the walk and lived with it, but I really noticed how red my arms were on my way home. I immediately put some of this gel on my arms when I got home and reapplied some more an hour or so later, and it helped a lot. I didn’t look or feel burned at all the next day. This stuff worked wonders for me.I really like the thickness of this. It really is a gel in that it isn’t runny, and it’s cloudy and almost looks like a lotion. It applies easily to my skin and absorbs relatively quickly. I also like the minty smell, which is pleasant and thankfully not overly strong.I haven’t used this in my hair and have only used it to moisturize my arms (I had used it on my arms for a bit before I got too much sun, which is why I remembered to use it that day). For my uses, I think that it’s great.

Still it is enough to test this out, so I am going forward.HOW THESE COMEThese bottles have a flip top on them and mine were not sealed. The three are supposed to be in a very thin cellophane bag.TEXTUREThese have a thin texture to them. It is somewhat runny, but that means it will absorb quickly into the skin.SCENTThere is a nice minty scent to this which fades quickly but is pleasant.LIGHTWEIGHTThis is much lighter in weight than I expected. Despite having castor oil in it, it is very lightweight.ABSORPTIONI am really happy with how quickly this absorbs into the skin. I do not feel any sticky feeling at all and within minutes, my skin feels almost dry (as in not wet anymore, not dry as in dry skin condition). For hair, I can see where this will work well too. I tested it on a strand of hair, but my hair is thinner so I tend not to use moisturizer on it. My husband will be using it on his hair. So far the test was good. It washed out and did not leave hair heavy.THE BOTTOM LINEI like this a lot. If the company did a better job of putting the package together with seals on the bottles and a better thick plastic zipper top bag vs very thin cello, it would be perfect.MY RATINGFIVE STARS, but I do maintain that the presentation and sealing of the product needs to be better out of the factory. Review: I’ve had a chance to use “AHOALOE Pack of 3 Brazilian Aloe Vera Gel – Multipurpose Moisturizing Natural Gel” for over a week now and this stuff is very impressive! It goes on like water and but dries almost into nothing. There is no sticky feeling when it dries. It has a cooling effect when you apply it which is very nice. I’ve only used this as a moisturizer but I bet this would feel amazing if I actually had a sun burn.The bottles are very thin, and one of the bottles was dented when I received it. There were no leaks, but none of the bottles have a heat seal so I would imagine leaking could be an issue. This item is made in Brazil.
